Lakers beat Blazers by 20, Oden gets injured again

The Blazers still have Roy, Aldridge, and Rudy Fernandez. Losing Oden actually isn't as bad as Blazers fans think it will be.

The L.A. Lakers beat the Portland TrailBlazers on opening night 96-76.

Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 23 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists. Pau Gasol added 15 points and 7 rebounds.

Blazers center Greg Oden, who sat out last year due to injury, came out today and injured himself AGAIN. Sucks for Blazers fans. Oden played 12 minutes and was scoreless with 5 rebounds, 1 block, 2 turnovers, and 2 fouls. Sorry major Blazers fans, ! you're gonna have to wait a little longer for Oden to come back and help the Blazers reach the playoffs.

Trevor Ariza had 11 points and 2 blocks, Lamar Odom came off the bench with 9 points and 7 rebounds, and backup PG Jordan Farmar had 9 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists.

The TrailBlazers were led by starting small forward Travis Outlaw with 18 points, and Spain guard Rudy Fernandez came off the bench and scored 16 points and dished out 4 assists. Brandon Roy, who was the team's leader last year, had 14 points, 5 assists, and 3 steals starting at shooting guard.

The Lakers also got 8 points from both Andrew Bynum and Vladimir Radmanovic, with Bynum adding 3 blocks and Radmanovic adding 5 rebounds.

I feel bad for the Blazers for losing Oden to injury again, but they still have LaMarcus Aldridge and Joel Przybilla, who had 11 rebounds for them.
